TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The MIDAS Planning Department provides many different services. Some of the
planning services MIDAS offers are:
  • Census
    MIDAS serves as the Census Data Center for the region. The groundwork for the 2000 Census began this year. MIDAS has offered services our members to help them with Local Updates to Census Addresses and Boundary & Annexation Surveys.

  • Codification
    Cities and counties are required to codify their ordinances at least once every five years

  • Comprehensive Planning/Land Use

  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

  • Grantsmanship and Grants Management
    MIDAS provides writing and administration services on a variety of grants.
